Lori Burke Bio:
Lori Burke is an award-winning singer/songwriter from Northwest Pennsylvania. Lori is on a journey into the license and sync world and will be placing her music in movies, television, and ads as well as performing her original music. She has signed up with Cathy Heller (Catch The Moon Music) to collaborate with some of the best writers and producers in the world!
Her most notable work includes songwriting for Sesame Street. She’s written and arranged a pair of songs for Sesame Workshop in 2016 & 2017. She's a member of the Sesame Alumni Group and Yellow Feather Fund which works to encourage children to grow up stronger, smarter, and kinder.
Her YouTube songs have almost a half million views including her viral parody of Meghan Trainor's "All About That Bass". She's been named one of the top ten parenting parody creators by the Today show. She's been written about in The Huffington Post, Redbook, and the Today Show Parenting websites.
She has accompanied Mr. Jim Avett, (father of Sony recording artists The Avett Brothers), on several occasions including performances in California, The Appollo Theater in West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. She's opened for Primetime Emmy Award winning actor Tony Hale (Veep, Arrested Development, Angry Birds Movie) at charity events. Lori has performed alongside Nashville's Jim Lauderdale (responsible for country hits for Patty Loveless, George Jones, Mark Chesnutt and the Dixie Chicks) in songwriting circles in New York.
Lori has written, performed, and produced 2 Indie albums: "Hold On"(Americana/Folk) and "You Are Loved"(Childrens Lullaby). She's written a digital 80’s themed musical score for Brad Patullo's stop-motion film "Polybius", produced a theme song for a children's educational web series called "Take A Child To Work Day", composed an instrumental for a digitally animated short film "Left Behind" by Michael Genz, (alum of Disney animation).
Lori has most recently started the "Love Notes Podcast" where she interviews artists, authors, and entrepreneurs who step out of their comfort zones to share what they are passionate about with the world.
Lori lives with her husband Donny, 2 children Lilly and Donny IV, and 2 English bulldogs Boss and Gracie in Northwest Pennsylvania.
